Our Professional Musicians

Since we have a few true professional musicians in our class, we thought we'd create this page just for them and their careers, and they'll be on stage at our Friday night shindig at J. Gilligan's.

Ronnie Cabal

Of course we'd love to have the most famous of us all on stage with us, Ronnie Cabal, but he'll be there in spirit!

Below are a few videos of Ronnie playing with George Strait and the Ace in the Hole Band in 1982 at Austin City Limits, enjoy!

Roy Vogt

We have yet another true professional musician amongst us, and that is Roy Vogt! Roy will be on stage Friday night at the reunion!

When you Google Roy's name, you'll find pages and pages, and website after website dedicated to his career. Not only is he an instructor at Belmont University's College of Music & Performing Arts, he's played with the likes of Dickey Betts (Allman Brothers Band), Jerry Reed, Chet Atkins, Engelbert Humperdinck, B.J. Thomas, Sweethearts of the Rodeo, and on and on!

Roy even has his own signature series bass guitar with his name on it!

Randy Stockum

Another true professional musician from our class is Randy Stockum, who will also be on stage Friday night.

Randy and his band have backed over 150 Elvis tribute artists over a 42-year period, and he has met and performed with many of Elvis Presley's band members.

Randy and his band have also backed numerous other tribute artists, like Johnny Cash, Patsy Cline, Buddy Holly, Cher, Neil Diamond and many others.

The band's name is Spinout, check 'em out! He also has an online store where you can get merchandise, including CD's of his original music, be sure to check that out as well!

Just like Roy above, when you Google Randy's name you'll find link after link paying tribute to his successes over the years.

Click HERE to see Randy and his band performing with Al Joslen, a tribute to Elvis. There are also over 240 YouTube videos of Randy and his band, check that out HERE.
