GRANBURY – Johnny Ball, 56, passed away Monday, May 7, 2012, in Dallas. No services are planned at this time.

Johnny was born July 16, 1955 in Fort Worth, to John Washington and Maybell Neeley Ball. He married Jeannie Keen Young in 1990, barefoot on the beach in Surf Side, Texas. He loved the ocean and being on the lake. Johnny served in the U.S. Army and owned and operated Jays Auto Service in Arlington and Car Quest Auto Parts in Granbury for several years. He was a hard-working, good hearted man who dearly loved his wife and was so proud of his two sons. He will be greatly missed and his fun memories will be treasured by his loving wife Jeannie. He was a member of Lakeside Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors: Wife of 22 years, Jeannie Ball of Granbury; two sons, Wayne Young and wife, Michele, Gary Young, all of Arlington; two sisters; two uncles; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Johnny became a customer of mine when I was a Mac tool man.I didn't know him much in school but we  grew to know each other in the world of business he was a hard working and a dreamer
