1957-04-19 2022-04-29Carol A. Kolanko
"Was born and raised in Pantego, Texas on April 19, 1957 to her parents, John J. Kolanko and Theresa Mary Kolanko (Danielski). Carol's younger years were spent enjoying her musical interests in rock/punk rock music and the mosh pits. She then acquired her higher education at The University of Texas at Arlington as she completed the Legal Assistant Program in 1992. Her best experiences were traveling solo around the world, Morocco, Persia, Egypt and other foreign lands. Carol respected vintage cars and was quite skilled caring for them throughout the years. She had a tremendous affinity for London, England and the River Thames. Carol was fortunate to retire May 1, 2009 serving the citizens of Arlington for 30 years and 7 months, as a Compliance Analyst for The Arlington Police Department. Later in life developed a feisty personality and a zest for life that was anything but average. While she enjoyed being at home, her most precious times were spent with her cats, Lucas, Jacob and Vincent. Carol was blessed to be able to pass in her home with Vincent by her side. She is preceded in death, by her parents, Grandparents, extended family as well as Lucas and Jacob. She was well cared for and deeply loved, by her friends and neighbors Debra Forzetti, Jerry Ruch, Beth Troy, Trini Allen, Kathleen Weisskopf and Anita Tye.
Special thanks all the medical staff, Home Health supporters, Firefighters, EMT staff and Police officers that were constant support as we moved through her health challenges. Thank you all for caring for in all of your unique ways while she was here amongst us.
Carol was received to rest on April 29, 2022 and may she know peace and love unimaginable."
